Let's take a look back through the week and see what I managed to achieve for my art practice whilst working a full-time job!
Monday:
On Monday, I headed from work to the University for some focus time before meeting my partner. I spent half an hour setting up an event calendar on my website (right here) to promote art fairs, workshops and artist talks. (My 2026 bookings are open so come hire me to talk about art!). I also designed artwork to go live on social media to promote the events too.
Tuesday:
On Tuesday I had the afternoon off to travel for a personal event. So, I took the time on the train to draw, write some ideas down and yes... the dreaded task of a gen z, artist - I scheduled a bunch of Instagram posts for November.
Wednesday:
Today my focus wasn't art. That said, on the train back, I posted an 'Anti Burnout Wrapped' for @antiburnout.co.uk celebrating everything that we achieved this year. Sneak preview - we exhibited work from over 25 artists in 2025!?!
Thursday:
Thursday - that's today, whilst I am writing this. So, i suppose that's what I've done for my practice. I've written about it. Future me will see you tomorrow or Sunday I suppose to finish off this list!
Friday:
After work today, I had an exciting meeting with Josh from Sappho's (A new community-driven Queer Café in Plymouth) about the potential of holding 'Half Baked 2.0' at their venue.
Saturday:
Art Fair day! Well, it was supposed to be. I woke up sick today so all I actually did was stay in bed all morning and then watch cheesy Christmas Movies laying down on the sofa under two blankets. But, I did upload a new product to my store. Mystery Bundles! There are three price tiers so everyone can get in on the fun! This year I did my first, commissioned mystery bundle and it was so fun I figured I'd offer it to everyone. If you'd like to order one, you can do so here!
Sunday:
Today I got orders ready to send out on Monday and I scheduled an Anti Burnout Blog Post from our first International Artist!
